DSI ApexSil CAL is a bioceramic material specifically designed for sealing root canals. This substance, based on MTA (Mineral Trioxide Aggregate) and calcium hydroxide, combines the proven efficacy of MTA with the benefits of calcium hydroxide. It offers exceptional biocompatibility, promotes faster tissue healing, and is free of eugenol. Additionally, it features very high radiopacity, making it an ideal choice for permanently sealing root canals and protecting them from re-infection after endodontic treatment.

DSI ApexSil CAL exhibits excellent flowability, ensuring thorough sealing of root canals with the help of MTA. The calcium hydroxide in ApexSil CAL releases calcium ions, which contribute to faster healing and improved overall tooth health.

This endodontic sealer is well-suited for treating perforations, root resorption, apical plugs, and pulp capping. It provides an adequate working time of 16-18 minutes and a setting time of 30-40 minutes, allowing for a calm and efficient root canal-filling process. The material sets only in contact with moisture, ensuring it will not harden on mixing pads.
