On top of that, DSI Iodoform also provides a lasting antimicrobial effect on the root canal's microflora. Iodoform possesses antiseptic properties due to the release of iodine when it comes into contact with bodily fluids. This property makes it effective in preventing infections in dental procedures.

Indications:

  • Used to seal the canal and prevent bacterial growth
  • Used as a dressing material in dental surgeries, especially after extractions
